The <a href="http://gcc.gnu.org/">GNU C compiler</a> gcc 2.8.1 or later is known to work well. <p>You must have the <a href="http://www.python.org/">Python</a> interpreter installed somewhere on your system. Currently Python 2.1 or newer is required, with Python 2.3.3 being recommended.
