It does however supply menu actions to start a <em>gitk</em> session from within <em>git gui</em>.</p></div> <div class="paragraph"><p><em>git gui</em> is known to work on all popular UNIX systems, Mac OS X, and Windows (under both Cygwin and MSYS).
